Mmmm, you can’t beat a bit of bacon
We clearly love our fresh meat; in fact, according to our research nearly nine out of ten of us eat fresh meat at least once a week.
Recently there was a new scientific claim that eating processed meat such as bacon could increase the risk of developing cancer.
So how was this revelation from the boffins going to impact on the UK’s carnivores and their bacon butties? Not very much is the rather dull answer. One in ten will either eat a little less or a lot less bacon but the rest of us need more convincing, we’ll continue to eat about the same amount of processed meat.
